Production
Winding the yarn.
It all begins with the careful preparation of the raw material. The high quality of the yarns we work with just demands meticulousness. Constantly controlled winding guarantees a trouble-free workflow for our tuft-specialists.
Sketching.
Once the design found its final layout, it is transfered onto the carrier fabric in original size via overhead projector or stencils. Whether straight, geometrical color divisions, or free, organic shapes – on this way even the most exotic client ideas are to be made true.
Hand-tufting.
The essencial step in the manufacturing of our carpets is without a doubt the tufting. Here the specifically dyed yarn is „shot“ through the carrier fabric with high sensitive tuft pistols. The work surface of our experted tuft-specialists is the underside of the future carpet.
Quasten.
After the meticulous control of the surface,a durable, elastic glue is „massaged“ into the carpet‘s underside with a tassel. On this way the pile material is tightly connected to the carrier fabric.
Konfektionierung.
After the glue is set, the still „tousled“ raw carpet is taken off its frame and gets its finish – it is flattened with a shearing machine. At this point – if wished – the design can be accented with an embossed surface.
